Genesis Investimentos is a farmland asset management company founded by Matthew Kruse in 2014.  Mr. Kruse is a fifth generation farmland manager who grew up on a corn and soybean farm in Iowa.  After co-founding his first investment company, he moved to Brazil in 2001.  He served as Chief Operating Officer for over a decade, representing investors on-site in the Brazilian frontier.  Under his management, assets under management grew to U$100 million.  Mr. Kruse has earned dual citizenship in Brazil and is fluent in Portuguese.  He has earned an Executive MBA from Walden University as well as Bachelor degrees from Iowa State University in Political Science and International Relations.  He has completed the Executive Program for Agricultural Producers from Texas A&M.  Additionally, he is a risk management specialist having earned his Series 3 and Series 31 licenses in commodity trading and managed futures trading.
